What is Time Efficiency?

Time Efficiency is a measure of how effectively time is utilized in completing a task. It is calculated by comparing the standard labor hours required to complete a task with the actual time taken to complete it, expressed as a percentage.

Example Calculation

Let's assume the following values:

Standard Labor Hours (SL): 40 hrs
Actual Time Worked (AT): 50 hrs

Using the formula to calculate the Time Efficiency:

\[ E_{time} = \frac{40}{50} \times 100 = 80\% \]

The Time Efficiency is 80%.
