What is Paint Cost?

Paint cost refers to the total expense incurred for purchasing the required amount of paint for a project. This cost is calculated by multiplying the total gallons of paint needed by the cost per gallon.

Example Calculation 1

Let's assume the following values:

Total Gallons of Paint Needed (GP) = 10 gallons
Cost per Gallon of Paint (CPG) = $25

Using the formula:

\[ PC = 10 \times 25 = 250 \]

The paint cost is $250.

Example Calculation 2

Let's assume the following values:

Total Gallons of Paint Needed (GP) = 5 gallons
Cost per Gallon of Paint (CPG) = $30

Using the formula:

\[ PC = 5 \times 30 = 150 \]
