Formula

The formula to calculate the Lift Energy (LE) is:

\[ \text{LE} = \frac{1}{2} \cdot \text{p} \cdot \text{V}^2 \]

Where:

Lift Energy (LE): The energy associated with the lift force generated by an aircraft or object moving through the air.
Air Density (p): The mass per unit volume of air (kg/m³).
True Airspeed (V): The actual speed of an aircraft relative to the air through which it is moving (m/s).

Let's say the air density (p) is 1.225 kg/m³ and the true airspeed (V) is 50 m/s. Using the formula:

\[ \text{LE} = \frac{1}{2} \cdot 1.225 \cdot 50^2 \approx 1531.25 \, \text{J} \]

So, the lift energy is approximately 1531.25 J.
