The formula to calculate the total cost of a lean-to is:

\[ LTC = A \times CPSF \]

Where:

$LTC$ is the total lean-to cost (\$)
$A$ is the total area of the lean-to (ft²)
$CPSF$ is the cost per square foot of material used for the lean-to (\$/ft²)

What is a Lean-to?

Example Calculation 1

Let's assume the following values:

Total Area (A) = 200 ft²
Cost Per Square Foot (CPSF) = \$16.00 / ft²

Using the formula:

\[ LTC = 200 \times 16.00 = 3200 \]

The Total Lean-to Cost is \$3200.

Example Calculation 2

Let's assume the following values:

Total Area (A) = 150 ft²
Cost Per Square Foot (CPSF) = \$18.00 / ft²

Using the formula:

\[ LTC = 150 \times 18.00 = 2700 \]

The Total Lean-to Cost is \$2700.
