To calculate the Distribution Rate (DISR):

Where:

$\text{DISR}$ is the Distribution Rate ($/$)
$\text{AD}$ is the annual distribution ($)
$\text{SP}$ is the share price ($)

What is Distribution Rate?

The Distribution Rate refers to the proportion of the annual distribution to the share price. It is used to determine the return on investment from distributions relative to the share price.

Example Calculation 1

Let's assume the following values:

Annual Distribution ($\text{AD}$) = $5
Share Price ($\text{SP}$) = $50

Using the formula:

\[ \text{DISR} = \frac{5}{50} = 0.10 \]

The Distribution Rate is 0.10 or 10%.

Example Calculation 2

Let's assume the following values:

Annual Distribution ($\text{AD}$) = $3
Share Price ($\text{SP}$) = $30

Using the formula:

\[ \text{DISR} = \frac{3}{30} = 0.10 \]

The Distribution Rate is 0.10 or 10%.
