Where:

\(A\) is the total number of attempts

What is a Catch Rate?

The catch rate is a measure used to determine the success rate of catching something, such as a Pokémon or a fish. It is calculated by dividing the total number of catches by the total number of attempts and multiplying by 100 to get a percentage.

Example Calculation

Let's assume the following values:

Total Number of Catches (\(C\)) = 25
Total Number of Attempts (\(A\)) = 100

Using the formula:

\[ CAR = \left(\frac{25}{100}\right) \times 100 = 25\% \]

The Catch Rate is 25%.
