Calculate Bullet Force

Formula

The formula to calculate the Bullet Force is:

\[ Fb = \frac{1}{2} \cdot \frac{m \cdot v^2}{d} \]

Where:

What is Bullet Force?

A bullet force is defined as the average force applied to the object that a bullet is applying to an object during impact. In other words, when a bullet strikes an object, how much force is applied as a result of the impact.

Example Calculation 1

Let's assume the following values:

Using the formula:

\[ Fb = \frac{1}{2} \cdot \frac{0.01 \cdot 800^2}{0.05} = 6400 \, \text{N} \]

The Bullet Force is 6400 N.

Example Calculation 2

Let's assume the following values:

Using the formula:

\[ Fb = \frac{1}{2} \cdot \frac{0.02 \cdot 700^2}{0.04} = 12250 \, \text{N} \]

The Bullet Force is 12250 N.
