The formula to calculate the Window Area (WA) is:

\[ WA = \left(\frac{WL}{12}\right) \times \left(\frac{WH}{12}\right) \]

Where:

Let's say the window length (WL) is 48 inches, and the window height (WH) is 36 inches. Using the formula:

\[ WA = \left(\frac{48}{12}\right) \times \left(\frac{36}{12}\right) \]

We get:

\[ WA = 4 \times 3 = 12 \, \text{ft²} \]

So, the window area is 12 ft².
