Formula

The maximum inductance \( L_{\text{MAX}} \) is calculated using the formula:

\[ L_{\text{MAX}} = \frac{(V_{\text{DC(min)}} \cdot D_{\text{MAX}})^2}{2 \cdot P_{\text{IN}} \cdot f_{\text{SW}}} \]

Example Calculation

Let's assume the following values:

Step 1: Convert the duty cycle to a decimal:

\[ D_{\text{MAX}} = 50\% = 0.5 \]

Step 2: Substitute the values into the formula:
