What is RO Efficiency?

RO Efficiency refers to the efficiency of a reverse osmosis system in producing purified water. It is calculated as the percentage of the total water input that is converted into RO water. Higher efficiency indicates better performance of the system in terms of water utilization.

Example Calculation

Let's assume the following values:

RO Water (RW) = 50 gallons
Total Water (TW) = 200 gallons

Using the formula:

\[ \text{Ero} = \frac{50}{200} \times 100 = 25 \]

The RO Efficiency (Ero) is 25%.
