The formula to calculate the Net Requirements (NR) is:

\[ NR = GR - SIH \]

Where:

• \(NR\) is the net requirements (units)
• \(GR\) is the gross requirements (units)
• \(SIH\) is the stock in hand at the end of the previous period (units)
