Gold Weight Calculator

Formula

To calculate the Gold Weight:

\[ GW = \frac{TW \times K}{24} \]

What is Gold Weight?

Gold weight is defined as the actual weight of the pure gold in a piece of gold since most gold is not 100% pure gold and contains other metals and impurities.

Example Calculation

Let's assume the following values:

Step 1: Multiply the TW by the K and then divide by 24:

\[ GW = \frac{TW \times K}{24} = \frac{100 \times 18}{24} = 75 \]

So, the Gold Weight \( GW \) is 75 grams.
