Calculate Dew Point

Formula

To calculate the Dew Point (\(Ts\)):

\[ Ts = \frac{b \cdot \alpha}{a - \alpha} \]

Where:

What is Dew Point?

Dew point is the highest possible temperature at which water can condense to form dew. It is the temperature at which air becomes saturated with moisture and water droplets begin to form. This is often observed as dew on grass in the mornings.

Example Calculation

Let's assume the following values:

Using the formula:

\[ \alpha = \ln\left(\frac{60}{100}\right) + \frac{17.62 \cdot 25}{243.12 + 25} \approx 1.78 \]

\[ Ts = \frac{243.12 \cdot 1.78}{17.62 - 1.78} \approx 16.93 \text{ °C} \]

The Dew Point is approximately 16.93 °C.
