What is Demand Factor?

Example Calculation

Consider an example where:

Maximum Demand (MD): 80 kW
Connected Load (CL): 100 kW

Using the formula to calculate the Demand Factor:

\[ DF = \frac{80}{100} = 0.80 \text{ kW/kW} \]

This means that the demand factor for this example is 0.80 kW/kW.
