where:

• \(\text{Boosted Power}\) = Power after adding the supercharger
• \(P\) = Boost pressure produced by the supercharger (psi)
• \(N\) = Naturally aspirated engine's current power output (hp)
• 14.7 = Standard atmospheric pressure in psi
