The formula to calculate the Absolute Humidity (AH) is:

\[ \text{AH} = \frac{\text{Pw}}{\text{R} \times \text{T}} \]

Where:

\(\text{R}\) is the gas constant for water vapor (461.5)
\(\text{T}\) is the temperature (°C)

What is Absolute Humidity?

Absolute humidity is a measure of the total mass of water vapor per unit volume of air at any given time. This contrasts with relative humidity, which measures the amount of water vapor relative to the temperature. Absolute humidity is typically expressed in grams per cubic meter (g/m³).

Example Calculation

Let's assume the following values:

Water Vapor Pressure (Pw) = 2000 Pa
Temperature (T) = 25 °C

Using the formula:

\[ \text{AH} = \frac{2000}{461.5 \times 25} \approx 0.1736 \]

The Absolute Humidity (AH) is approximately 0.1736 g/m³.
